Playing a vital role in the lives of area residents, The Community House offers growth and enrichment opportunities for everyone and provides a strong link between people, organizations and opportunities. We invite you to visit The Community House and take advantage of these exceptional opportunities.

The Community House serves Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Westmont and Willowbrook. It enriches the quality of life for people of all ages, providing exciting new learning experiences, recreation, counseling support, senior citizens’ services and hundreds of volunteer opportunities throughout the area.

The Community House is a private, not-for-profit organization supported by friends and neighbors, the local business community, family trusts, gifts and endowments. While partially funded by the United Way of Hinsdale and of South DuPage, we receive no tax support of any kind. Each year many community residents volunteer for, or participate in, benefit events which raise funds for The Community House. As our programs and services expand so has the generosity of the communities we serve.
