Elementary School District 181 is comprised of seven K-5 elementary schools and two 6-8 middle schools. The school district serves the communities of Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, as well as parts of Burr Ridge, Oak Brook and Willowbrook.

 

Academics

District 181 offers a comprehensive K-8 curriculum covering the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, social science, physical education, health, art, music and foreign language (Spanish and French). A middle school program features grade level teams, elective and exploratory offerings, an applied technology lab, and extracurricular activities. A special program is provided for identified gifted students. Computer labs and classroom computer work stations provide important learning tools.

 

Student Services

A comprehensive program and a wide range of professional services are provided to assist students with developmental and academic concerns.

 

Student Achievement

Test results, both state and nationally standardized, indicate that District 181 students are performing at very high levels.
